Day 30: Rhiw

We woke up to the sound of rain on the roof. Luckily, we had already decided that we would not be walking today as we are leaving our cottage at Church Bay and travelling to the next cottage near Rhiw on the Llyn Peninsula. Greg also wanted to go shopping for a new pair of boots as the pair he has been wearing are starting to fall to bits. I don’t think this is good enough for a $200 pair of boots given that we have only walked 300 km! I would think that they should last longer than this. In any case, he bought a new pair of boots after much trial and error at the outdoor shop in Bangor. We will see if this pair lasts the distance!
We arrived at the new cottage later in the day although we could not see our surroundings as there was a low fog all around. This hung around until lunch time the next day, so we did not see the view from our new abode until we got home from our walk the following day. Below are photos of the current cottage which we are staying in for the next seven nights and the view we have from the kitchen.
